Breeder of Quality Harris Hawks!!!
Recently Update... Take a Look Around!
We are a captive breeder of quality captive bred domestic Harris Hawks for the discreationary falconer. Hunting hawks mission is to breed quality birds from parents who are exceptional in the field. We will not breed substandard birds. All of our birds have been flown and hunted at game. We also chamber raise our Harris Hawks for 16 weeks rather than 12 weeks which helps to reduce mal-imprints. Save yourself from a noisy harris hawk and aggression in the field.
All colors on this website were taken from a color pallet taken from the picture of a Harris Hawk. Except for the text. This color comes from mutes. We are currently reorganizing this site. Please check back soon.

Recently I have received a number of calls from people who are not falconers please make sure you understand that you must be licensed by your state and by the feds in the US. I can not legally sell to anyone in the US without obtaining a copy of your valid Falconry license and you must be at least at the general falconry level. I will provide some links on our link page which will help you on your quest. Falconry is not for everyone and hawks or falcons are not pets. Falconry is a lifestyle and requires a high level of dedication. Some good news. Our first pair has laid their first egg. Our other pairs are not too far behind.

Recently, our website was undergoing some changes. I started making changes over the christmas holiday. Due to my busy schedule finishing my MBA/MT, tomorrow is my last day, I have neglected this site. Today, I continued making some changes to my website. This year should be a great year at Hunting Hawks so check back often. We have 4 pairs of harris hawks all exceptional birds who have been hunted. I am putting one of my best hunters up for breeding this year. While it is sad to see him put into my breeding project, I look forward to his offspring. This season has been one of the best in several years. I have been able to hunt 4 to 5 times a week except a two week period when I broke out in poison oak. I have been flying one of my offspring of late. A good friend has loaned back to me a Hen, Yuma, who I could not be happier with. We went out flying her today with my wife, 9 year old daughter, and my 3 1/2 year old son. We had a great time and Yuma did not dissapoint us. She is very good with the kids and took high perches and followed nicely. More important she caught a packrat with a nice stoop out of a fir tree. I am adding a blog page in the next few days and promise to keep stuff coming to this website weekly.
